Princess Dress Up Outfits – Which One Will Be Her New Favorite?

Looking for the perfect generic princess costume for your girls? Check out these beautiful NON-DISNEY PRINCESS gowns here! www.kidslovedressup.com

Welcome, Moms (Dads, Grandmas, Friends, Family)  of Girly Girls!!  Here I’ve compiled a bunch of favorite princess dress up outfits for your perusal.  These are NOT Disney Princess costumes, that I’m aware of, anyways…  but more “generic”.  Not all little girls know (or care) who the Disney characters are, but many “girly-girls” just love the glitter, the poof, and the pretty colours.

Each of the links below will bring you through to Amazon, where you’ll find the exact product, prices (based on sizes), and other similar options if you prefer.  Beware… these dresses are so cute it may be hard to just pick ONE! 🙂

(As an Amazon Associate I may earn a small commission from qualifying purchases made through links on this page, at no additional cost to you. Full Disclosure.)

Have fun getting her Princess World re-stocked (or introduced, perhaps)! These are 12 seriously GORGEOUS princess gowns! Aren’t they adorable? (Don’t you wish we Moms could dress up in them too!?) I love the brilliant colors of some of them (the dark pink is my favorite) AND the fact that my daughter doesn’t have to play a particular princess while dressed up in one of these!

Princess dress up play can be a ton of fun, but also great for learning how to pretend to be a character! Girls learn to role play, communicate, and interact with each other while playing princess – it’s not just all about looking pretty!

This is just a quick survey page of some gorgeous options – I’ve dug deeper into several different aspects of princess dress up for little girls! Check out the following posts, or search around and enjoy!

Hello, my little girl is 4 years old and she absolutely LOVES Frozen (as do most children lol). She typically likes Elsa though. However she also likes dressing up as any other princess.
These looks perfect for her, I might have to get one for her 5th b-day in April.

    Thanks for this post,
    Brandon

Yes, there’s something about Elsa, isn’t there?? My 3 year old just adores her – and she hasn’t even seen the movie yet!! 🙂
I have found that generic princess dresses can be kind of liberating for a princess-loving girl though, as they don’t have to stick to any particular story. If your little girl has an active imagination, she might just LOVE coming up with her OWN princess tale, one in which SHE stars, not Elsa!

You’ve collected a lot of great choices here! I love that they’re not specifically Disney princesses, too. We tried some of those, but in the end it’s the more generic ones that our girls really love. These ones really let them be whichever princess they wanted at any given time. Besides, who wants to get stuck wearing the same exact dress every time?

That is so true! I think especially for girls who have creative imaginations and who love to make up their own games, the generic ones are a huge hit. I personally just love the bright yellow one! Looks like sunshine! 🙂
